Coconut Butter Cake
Reading edition
1 egg well beaten 2 squares melted chocolate ½ cup milk
Cook these ingredients in a saucepan until smooth and thick. When cool add:
1 cup sugar 1½ cups flour after it is sifted 1 teaspoon soda, dissolved in milk ½ cup milk 1 tablespoon melted butter
Bake in two layers in a moderate oven.
