RED FELT NOEL BANNER (gold lace) (page 8)
You’ll need:
2¼ yds. Wright’s Metallic Middy Braid 9961 (P506), gold 3½ yds. Wright’s Metallic Lace 9946 (P508), gold ⅓ yd. Wright’s Metallic Soutache Braid 9960 (P505), gold 30″ x 7″ Felt, red and 8″ dowel stick with end slits
To make:
1. Fold top of felt under 1″ and glue edge for dowel stick casing.
2. Fold bottom edge in half; cut diagonally from corner up to 1¾″ on fold.
3. Mark 4″ N O E L letters evenly spaced down center of panel.
4. Glue 2 rows lace to form letters. Glue middy braid at outer edges of panel.
5. Insert stick into casing. Knot ends of soutache and slip into slits of stick.
