THE WANDERING SUNBEAM.
Reading edition
BY E. M. TRAQUAIR.
A little wandering sunbeam Came sliding down the sky; To seek another home below, It left its home on high. On baby Mary's head it lit— Our gentle little one; Her eyes grew blue as heaven's hue, Her ringlets like the sun. Its home it made with her; and since, Though quiet as a mouse, Her smile is like the day: she is Our sunbeam in the house.
