1st row.—Miss 4 ch.st., make 1 d.c. in each of the next 7 ch.st., 8 ch.st., miss 8, 1 d.c. in the following 8 ch.st., 8 ch.st., miss 8, 1 d.c. in the following 8 ch.st. Turn.
2d row.—3 ch.st., miss 1 d.c., make 1 d.c. in the next 7 d.c. of last row, 8 ch.st., 1 d.c. in the next 8 d.c., 8 ch.st.; 1 d.c. in the next 8 d.c., 7 ch.st., fasten in last stitch of foundation. Turn.
3d. row.—13 s.c. around ch. of 7 of last row; 1 ch.st., * 1 d.c. in next 8 d.c., 4 ch.st., fasten in middle st. of both preceding chains, 4 ch.st.; * repeat once, then 1 d.c. in next 8 d.c. Turn.
4th row.—3 ch.st., 1 d.c. in next 7 d.c., 8 ch.st., 1 d.c. in next 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 1 d.c. in next 8 d.c., 7 ch.st., fasten on end of 3d in the 1 ch.st. Turn.
5th row.—13 s.c. around ch. of 7 of last row, 1 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c. Turn.
6th row.—3 ch.st., 7 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 7 ch.st., fasten on end of 5th row in the 1 ch.st. Turn.
7th row.—13 s.c. around ch. of 7, 1 ch.st., 8 s.c., 4 ch.st., fasten in middle st. of 2 preceding chains, 4 ch.st., 8 d.c., 4 ch.st., fasten as before, 4 ch.st., 8 d.c. Turn.
8th row.—3 ch.st., 7 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 7 ch.st., fasten in the 1 ch.st. Turn.
9th row.—13 s.c. around chain of 7, 1 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c. Turn.
10th row.—3 ch.st., 7 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c., 8 ch.st., 8 d.c.; then 7 ch.st.; fasten in chain of 1. 11th row.—1 ch.st., 8 d.c., 4 ch.st., fasten as before, 4 ch.st., 8 d.c., 4 ch.st., fasten, 4 ch.st., 8 d.c.
Repeat entire work from second row.
After having reached the entire length of the lambrequin, work 8 d.c. in the end of every other row on the upper edge of the lambrequin, fastening by 1 s.c. in the intervening rows.
