1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons
2 tablespoons = 1 ounce
8 tablespoons = 4 ounces or ¹⁄₂ cup
16 tablespoons = 8 ounces or 1 cup
All ingredients measured by the cup, tablespoon or teaspoon are measured level.
