Plain Waffles.
Reading edition
1 pint of flour, 1 pint of sweet milk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoonful of baking powder, 1 tablespoonful of butter. Mix into a smooth batter, and bake in hot waffle iron. Serve hot with butter and sugar, or syrup.
