If lines are broken, they show disturbed conditions. If they encircle the wrist, or come to the top of wrist, show great results and certainty.
Dot on the thumb nail, friend chosen with good judgment.
Dots on first finger nail—a foe; can be avoided if on the side; if in the middle, prepare for the meeting.
Dot on the second finger nail—gifts—if in the center, sure to come, if on the side, apt to be lost by carelessness or lack of appreciation.
Dots on the third finger nails designate amours and affections, governed by the same rule; if in the center, are certain; if to one side, are not lasting.
Dots on the little finger nails, journeys; upon the side, short; in center, far from home.
If dots on finger nail are discovered near the top, they are near at hand; if low, some distance.
