Reading edition

Compayré asserts: “The Jesuits have never written anything on the principles and objects of education. We must not demand of them an exposition of general views or a confession of their educational faith.” L. c., p. 142. Voltaire called Jouvancy’s Method of Learning and Teaching the best work written since Quintilian’s famous Institutes.—Sacchini, Jouvancy and Kropf were published again in 1896, as vol.
