THE CLERK B. H. M. HETHERINGTON

Reading edition

in The London Bookman

Now his pen has ceased from adding rows of figures, Ceased from ruling ledgers and entering amounts: Clad in sodden khaki, with a gun in Flanders He is balancing accounts.
