The authors of “The Anglo-Egyptian Sudan,” 1905 (Vol. I, p. 87) erroneously place Bir Shalatein in Wadi Hasium instead of at the mouth of Wadi Hodein. The mistake has led to erroneous delineation of the administrative boundary between Egypt and the Sudan in existing maps (see p. 74).
