Note 478:1 — THE GARDEN OF BOCCACCIO[478:1]
Reading edition
First published in The Keepsake for 1829, to accompany a plate by Stothard: included in 1829 and 1834. The variant of lines 49-56, probably a fragment of some earlier unprinted poem, is inserted in one of Coleridge's Notebooks.
