Reading edition

3.{194-3} vos; in South America vos (with the sec. pers. plur. of the verb) is used as a more formal expression than tú, but less formal than usted, when addressing a single person. In Mexico and Cuba, on the other hand, neither vos nor vosotros is commonly used, and ustedes serves as plural of both tú and usted.
