A new and beautiful feature is introduced in this design. The mosaic decoration is made of the same clay as the brick in a great variety of shades. Assume all the plain and moulded bricks in this design a warm gray color and the tones of the mosaic decorations, as indicated in sketch, from a dark, warm gray to cream. This scheme of color can be produced in reds, etc. A frame % inch x i % inch wrought iron and brackets around the fireplace opening form a part of this design.
