The terraced mound tombs of the Emperors of Japan appear to be survivals of the ancient tombs. Although true dolmens have been found in Korea, they do not, so far as is known, occur in Japan (Journal Anthrop. Inst., xxiv, p. 330, and 1907, pp. 10 et seq.). ↑
