1 Hank White LION BRAND Knitting Worsted; 1 Pair Bone Knitting Needles, No. 4; 1 Pair Steel Knitting Needles, No. 12.
Directions:
Cast on bone needles 130 sts.
First Row—K. 2, * p. 2, k. 2, repeat from * to end of row.
Second Row—P. 2, * k. 2, p. 2, repeat from * to end of row.
Third Row—K. 2, * p. 2, k. 2, repeat from * to end of row.
Fourth Row—Knit.
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
K. following pattern for 2 inches.
P. 3 rows.
Repeat pattern for 3 inches.
P. 3 rows.
Repeat pattern for 5½ inches.
Change to steel needles, repeat pattern for two inches, leave enough worsted to draw through all sts., and sew firmly.
Tassel: With two threads of worsted ch. 15 sts. and make a tassel, sew to chain, and sew chain to cap.
