Joanna B. Horner translation

Evidently the same name as that of the Heliopolitan priest ‎‏פוטיפרע‏‎, which only, being more complete, has the ‎‏ע‏‎ at the end, and which the Seventy likewise write Πετεφρῆ. In hieroglyphics the name would be 𓊪𓐰𓂞𓁛 or 𓊪𓐰𓂞𓇳𓐰𓏤 Pet-Ra, or with the article, which can also be written in hieroglyphics, Pet-Ph-Ra, i. e. “he who is consecrated to the sun.”
