While the men were at war their wives observed certain regulations of a symbolic nature, supposed to assist the warriors. Many slept in one house, with their heads lying in the direction that the warriors had taken, and, when the war party was supposed to have started back, they all slept with their heads turned in the opposite direction. ↑
