Νέος Ἑλληνομνήμων, VI. 40; VII. 341. From Giornale Ligustico, I. 219, it has been assumed that he was still alive on May 25, 1409; but the Greek is confirmed by Noiret, Documents, 161, where Nicolò is described as regent on April 4, 1405, and by Libri Bullarum, XXIV. (1409-16) f. 194ᵛ, where Jacopo is addressed as “lord of Mytilene” on April 12, 1409.
