cattārīsadanto so bhavaṃ Gotamo, wörtlich ‚vierzigzähnig ist Herr Gotamo‘, womit natürlich, wie auch sonst bei Zahlenreihen, nur die begonnene vierte Dekade, d. h. über dreißig, gemeint ist. Caturo dasassa heißt es im Dīghanikāyo l. c. p. 182.
