MS. Ballard 14, fol. 103: a letter from Aubrey to Anthony Wood, of date July 2, 1674. In MS. Ballard 14, fol. 96, a letter to Wood of date Oct. 28, 1673, Aubrey says: 'I mett on Sunday was sennight at Mr. Ashmoll's one Captain Pugh, a rubro-literate gent.'
