If a base occurs with the direct and the instrumental passive, where i- has the meaning 1, but the direct and instrumental passive forms are not synonymous, the verb is said to be in class ac, e.g. lábay ‘throw’. Dalágan ‘run’ is an example of a verb referring to motion in the ac conjugation.
