Reading edition
Kyra means Dame, or Goody: thus, Goody Kanella was Mattina’s aunt. At the end of the book there are notes marked 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., explaining the meaning of the Greek words used, and describing briefly certain events in Greek history. ↑
