Reading edition
Ambassades de Noailles, vol. ii. Noailles, in describing the scene to the King of France, says that when de Geneda entered the boat that was to convey him down the Thames on his way to Spain, he announced that Prince Philip would visit Queen Mary in the following March on his way to Flanders; and Noailles advises the King of France to muster his ships in the Channel to prevent the Prince’s passage.
