Note 8 — MYTHS RECORDED IN ENGLISH AT SITKA

This name does not occur in the list given by this same man (Twenty-sixth Annual Report of the Bureau of American Ethnology, p. 426.) He said it was the eighth month and according to his list the eighth month is March, which he calls Hīn taˊnᴀx kayāˊnî dīˊsî, “Month when things under the sea begin to grow.”
