The Works of John Marston. Volume 3

Note 598 — ACT V. (continued 2)

Reading edition

Puttana Errante is the title of a poem (by Lorenzo Veniero) falsely ascribed to Aretino. The same title was sometimes given to Dialoghi di Rosana e Ginevra. See Preface to vol. i. of Les Ragionamenti ou Dialogues du divin Pietro Aretino, Paris, 1882.
