Reading edition
All the editions give “Bessicler’s;” but this is evidently a misprint. Rosicleer was the brother of the Knight of the Sun, and he figures prominently in the group of romances published under the Mirror of Knighthood (7 pts., 1583-1601). He had an excellent suit of armour, which proved very serviceable in his combats with giants.
