Some verses, signed “Jo. Mar.,” prefixed to Donne’s Poems, 1633, have been ascribed to Marston; but, as the heading of the verses is “Hexasticon Bibliopolæ,” and as the publisher or bibliopola was Jo[hn] Mar[riott], Marston’s claim can hardly be sustained.
