Reading edition

Bolingbroke's Works, vol. ii. p. 315, 317, 320. "The sole question," says Bolingbroke, "is, who caused this disunion?—and that will be easily decided by every impartial man, who informs himself carefully of the public anecdotes of that time. The prediction has been fulfilled, and the vaunting prophet consigned to infamy through the evidence he invoked.
