Served under Sir Eyre Coote in Egypt, and was present at the taking of Alexandria. Commanded the 4th British Brigade at Waterloo. C.B. and K. St. Vladimir. M. in 1804, Lady Harriet Somerset, youngest dau. of the 5th Duke of Beaufort, and had issue. D. in London, 20th April, 1817, aged 45.
