This officer’s name appears on the tablet erected by the Grenadier Guards, in the church at Waterloo, in memory of the officers of that regt. who fell in the Waterloo campaign. His parentage cannot be traced, and he seems to have left no will. The name of Grose is familiar to all from being that of the author of Military Antiquities.
