Eldest son of Roger Comberbach, who assumed the surname and arms of Swetenham. Bn. 7th Feb., 1787. Served in the Pa. with above regt. Quitted the service with rank of maj. in 1817. M., 1st May, 1817, Eleanor, dau. of John Buchanan, of Donelly, co. Donegal, and had issue. Owned the estate of Somerford Booths, co. Chester, which had been in possession of his ancestors since A.D. 1100. D. 17th Nov., 1852.
