My observations ‘On the Character and hybrid-like nature of the offspring from the illegitimate union of Dimorphic and Trimorphic Plants’ were published in the ‘Journal of the Linnean Soc.,’ vol. x. p. 393. The abstract here given is nearly the same with that which appeared in the 6th edition of my ‘Origin of Species.’
