Note 110 — III

Philip Askell Benton translation

Schutzgeb., xix. 18; Dominik, p. 239. [‘Ngaljam’ is a Kanuri word equivalent to the Hausa ‘faddama’, meaning a shallow water-course.—P. A. B.]
