Yung (“Syst. nerveux des Crustacées Décapodes, Arch. de Zool. exp. et gén.,” Tom. VII., 1878) proposes to name connectives the longitudinal bundles of nerve-fibres which unite the ganglia, and to reserve the term commissures for the transverse communicating branches.
