In the Appendix I give the balance-sheet for that three months, handed to me by Miss Booth, who further gave me proofs that all the monies collected in Switzerland were also spent in Switzerland, with the exception of 1,000 francs (£40) which was a gift from a gentleman deeply interested in the work in France, and which he asked her to dedicate specially to that work. I append also a statement concerning the accounts in England which it would be well that readers should mark.
