I do not intend to enter upon the great question of the public ministry of women. It is too large a question for the compass of this paper. Its solution is at hand. It is one of the questions of the day which are pressing at our very door. I will only say here one word, namely, that God has evidently, and in the face of the whole world, signally blessed and honoured the public ministry of women in the Gospel, and no doubt He will know how to justify Himself in so doing.
