Additional colour was given to this, later, by Lady Henry Somerset placing the name of Lord Roberts (author of the “Infamous Circular Memorandum,” the history of which we have given in chapters 1 and 5) on the Advisory Board of the Duxhurst Inebriate Home of the B.W.T.A., at the Annual Conference of the Association in June, 1897.
