The Poetical Works of William Wordsworth — Volume 8 (of 8)

Note 488 — A WORDSWORTH BIBLIOGRAPHY

Reading edition

This is spoken of in Ellis Yarnall’s Reminiscences as having no date. When John Locken—the first publisher—failed, the plates passed into the possession of Messrs. Uriah Hunt and Son. They retired from business, and Messrs. Leavitt and Co. took the plates. It is possible that there was an edition earlier than 1843.
