Fernberger (Observations, 269) notes “distortion of time and space”; and (Further Observations, 367) a “grave upsetting of space and time ... space was extremely extended and time extremely slowed.” Maggendorfer (Intoxikationspsychosen, 355-56) notes for mescaline a time and space derangement, similar to those in other “intoxikationpsychosen.” Crichtly (op. cit., 105) describes micropsia and megalopsia, or gravely deranged perception of size.
