Note 11.1 — THE PASTON LETTERS Edward IV

Reading edition

[From Fenn, iv. 64.] The date of this letter is a little uncertain, but it seems to have been written at the beginning of the dispute between Paston and Yelverton, about Fastolf’s will, and the year 1461 appears to me on the whole most probable.

11.3 Thomas Howes.

11.4 The day of his chief or patron saint. Blofield Church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
