Aristot. Ath. Pol. 2. In ch. 12 the Ath. Pol. alludes to the difficulties (ἀπορία) of the poor and of those previously slaves who were liberated as a result of the σεισαχθεία (Solon’s measure for dealing with slavery and debt), and proceeds to quote Solon himself.
