Reading edition

Martin Alonso Pinzon succeeded in bringing the caravel Pinta into port at Bayona in Galicia. He went thence to Palos, arriving in the evening of the same day as the Niña with the Admiral. Pinzon died very soon afterwards. Oviedo [I. 27] says: “He went to Palos to his own house and died after a few days since he went there very ill.” (Markham.)
