Note 58 — Romulus.
Smith Ely Jelliffe translation
Some Greek twin sagas are quoted by Schubert (loc. cit., p. 13, et seq.) in their essential content. Concerning the extensive distribution of this legendary form, compare the somewhat confused book of J. H. Becker, “The Twin Saga as the Key to the Interpretation of Ancient Tradition. With a Table of the Twin Saga.” Leipsic, 1891. German text.
