Roger of Wendover, vol. iv. p. 98, says fratres suos, but Matthew Paris, Hist. Angl., vol. ii. p. 265, who relates this scene on the authority of an eyewitness, the Bishop of Coventry, speaks of only one brother (William), and so does Falkes himself.
