The Memoirs of Count Carlo Gozzi; Volume the First

Note 11 — INTRODUCTION. Part I. CARLO GOZZI AND PIERO ANTONIO GRATAROL.

John Addington Symonds translation

An anonymous answer, entitled Riflessioni d'un Imparziale, appeared at Lugano. This was ascribed to Carlo Gozzi's pen; but he repudiated the pamphlet, and it does not bear the mark of his style. It may be found at the end of vol. ii. of Gratarol's Narr. Apol., ed. 1797, Venice, Silvestro Gatti.
