Ed. F. Guessard et E. de Certain (1862) in Collection des documents historiques; cf. Creizenach, i. 372; Julleville, Les Myst. ii. 576; H. Tivier, Étude sur le Myst. du Siège d’O. (1868). The play may have been designed for performance at the festival held at Orleans in memory of the siege on May 8. The passage quoted from Sir Richard Morrison on p. 221, suggests that a similar commemoration was held in the sixteenth century by the English at Calais of the battle of Agincourt in 1415.
