Hazlitt-Warton, iii. 163, from Register of St. Swithin’s. This is amongst the Wulvesey MSS., now in the possession of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners (York Plays, lxv). The date is given as 1487 by Hazlitt-Warton, but the visit is said to be that ‘on occasion of the birth of Prince Arthur,’ which took place in the autumn of 1486.
