London Chronicle, 91. The Cott. MS. reads ‘Clerkenwelle’ for the ‘Skynners Welle’ of the Harl. MS. Gregory’s Chronicle (Hist. Coll. of a Citizen of London, Camden Soc.), 105, also mentions ‘the grette playe at Skynners Welle’ in 1409.
