The attempt of Pflugk-Harttung (Die Schriften S. Patricks, in Neue Heidelberger Jahrbücher, p. 71 sqq., 1893) to prove the Confession and Letter spurious is a piece of extraordinarily bad criticism. He designates the Liber Armachanus as “Irlands pseudoisidorische Fälschung.”
