A similar story, also of a local character, is told by Dick in Alte jüdische Sagen oder Ssipurim, p. 42, where he mentions a Polish work, Przechadzki po Wilnie i jego okolicach przez Jana ze Śliwnia (A. Kirkor), Wilna, 1859, that contains many Jewish tales.
